Red Hook, NY (ContentDesk) August 4, 2005 -- The 4th Annual Hudson Valley Wine Fest to be held at the Greig Farm in Red Hook, NY on September 9th, 10th and 11th will start off with a Grand Reserve Tasting event on Friday evening, September 9th from 6 to 9pm.
WineRacks.com, sponsor of the Wine Fest, is pleased to announce that proceeds from the Grand Reserve Tasting will benefit educational programs of Cornell Cooperative Extension of both Dutchess and Ulster Counties.
The Grand Reserve Tasting will feature pouring of award-winning Reserve Vintages by some of the top wineries in New York State.
These vintages are not available to the general public, and in most cases will not be available at any other time during the festival weekend.
Music, dancing and hors d'oeuvres, specially prepared by some of the area's finest restaurants to compliment the Reserve Vintages are just some of what this evening under the stars has to offer.Grand Reserve participating wineries are Atwater Estate Vineyards, Cascade Mountain Winery, Chateau Lafayette Reneau, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, Millbrook Vineyards & Winery, Seneca Shore Wine Cellars, Sheldrake Point Winery and Standing Stone Vineyards.
Some of the notable restaurants providing hors d'oeuvres are Le Canard Enchaine of Kingston, New World Home Cooking of Woodstock and Gigi Trattoria of Rhinebeck.
The White Men On Swing will provide music.
A silent and live auction with George Cole of George Cole Auctions in Red Hook will offer a stunning array of items ranging from original artwork by local artists, to getaways in the Grand Canary Island and Telluride, Colorado, to a customized home landscape design and planting.Tickets to the Grand Reserve Tasting are $100 per person and include a weekend pass to the Fest.

If you want to maintain happy emotions it is very important to pray over your food and drink before consuming it. This is even more important to do if you want to grow spiritually.
Praying over your food and drink is especially important if you are eating food that has not been prepared yourself or at least by someone who has a good energy.
Food is made of energy. Your body, mind and spirit are energy. Energy can be transmitted by touch.
There are subtle invisible thought-forms that can pass from one person to another when one person prepares food and another eats it.
I will give a story to illustrate this. Like most people, I virtually never did bless my food. Then I met and married my husband Michael. He always prayed over his food and drink and blessed it in Jesus' name.
